VENTURA — The missing’s family is asking for the public’s assistance in locating missing 50 year old Lisa Harvey out of the Ventura, California area.
Lisa was last seen in Tulare County on April 29, 2017 while on her way to Lake Isabella . Lisa had taken Highway 126 out of Ventura, she stopped to visit a friend in Fillmore. The friend said she tried to convince Lisa not to continue her trip, fearing she was in no condition to drive. Authorities believe she took Highway 126 to Interstate 5, then got on Highway 99 to Bakersfield.
In Bakersfield, Lisa apparently drove past the exit to Lake Isabella and continued north on Highway 99. After learning she’d missed the Highway 178 turnoff, Lisa exited and stopped at a gas station, where she phoned her friend in Fillmore, and that is when she told her friend she was driving south to find the exit to Highway 178. That was the last time Lisa is known to have spoken with anyone.
A voicemail message was left on a call from her phone around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday. The voicemail contained no speech, only the muffled sounds of what appears to have been an accidental call.
Lisa was last seen driving her white Toyota Solara with California plate # 4KKU552
