Thank you to everyone who has taken time out of their day to read my fathers story and to every single one of the 613 people to share his story in less than 24 hours. I will never forget your kindness. Ever.
There are too many unanswered questions for me to form a definitive opinion of what I think really occurred the morning of 8/6/17. Until these questions are answered or evidence proves otherwise, I’ll continue to hold onto hope that my father made it out of the water that day. If he did he may be confused, disoriented or in an altered state of mind or in a hospital or jail. The possibilites are endless. But there are possibilities. These are tiny chances for hope. Reasons to keep searching, reasons to not give up. And….because he would do the same for me.
As of 9/4/17 my father has not yet been located. If you have any information, please call or send a text to 831-233-0251 or contact me via email at findjimbegley@gmail.com
Please, if you know Jim or know anything about his disappearance, let us know. Did you see him in his kayak? Has anyone foubd his paddle. When was the last time you saw him?? Please help..
My father is still missing. Please contact me with any information, regardless of how insignificant you think it may be. Any and all information helps.
I just saw this on Facebook and I did not realize it happened so long ago. I was a colleague if Jim’s in the Urchin Industry and my Father worked with him on his boat and was very good friends with him. I was saddened to hear this and so was my father. I hope and pray he has since been found safe. Please post an update.
